Anthony Tinerella
Senior Superintendent
Anthony Tinerella makes no bones about it: “If it weren’t for getting into the construction trades, I probably wouldn’t be here today.”
He explains. “As an 18-year-old kid, I was heading down the wrong path—having fun was more important than having a career. I had done some side work with family members in the trades and was fortunate to get into carpenter school. That’s when my whole impression of what it means to be a carpenter changed.”
Anthony acknowledges that the career path he’s chosen can be challenging at times, but notes, “After 24 years in construction, I can look back and see the importance of hard work, dedication, and resilience in overcoming the challenges and achieving personal growth.”
Before joining Custom Contracting in 2016, Anthony had worked for one of Chicago’s largest construction companies. He says that’s what sets Custom Contracting apart is the supportive environment and family-oriented culture of the company.
That culture, he says, extends to the clients Custom Contracting serves. “We have a trusting relationship with our clients. They know they can call me, and I’ll be on site as soon as I can, even in the middle of the night.
“Our clients know they can rely on us to get the job done right the first time. A lot of that comes down to the emphasis our top leaders place on training and teamwork. We have a reputation for professionalism and attention to detail, and that’s the key to repeat business and long-term client engagements.”
