LaJeunesse began his career as a millwork apprentice in Chicago and after a few years of increasingly responsible positions founded his own business, Custom Contracting Ltd., in 1987. As president of Custom Contracting, he manages all key personnel and core operations.

Donna works closely with the project management and estimating teams and with corporate advisors on legal, accounting, and finance issues. She also participates in pricing and contract negotiations for the company. In her role as head of human resources, Donna is particularly interested in fostering a work environment where individuals can make meaningful contributions, develop and refine their existing talents, and acquire new knowledge and skills to advance their careers.
Donna is an active member of industry organizations including the Builders Association, a local chapter of The Associated General Contractors of America; and the Risk, Insurance, Strategic, Claims Management Association (RISCA). A lifelong learner, Donna has studied management and business disciplines at Northeastern University, Wilbur Wright College, Triton College, and the College of Lake County all in Illinois.
Robert Giannosa, Vice President
Robert Giannosa, Vice President, has primary management responsibility for corporate and client engagements including safety, tools and equipment,
business development, trade labor coordination, and field personnel. In this position, Robert leverages his in-depth knowledge of building code requirements, mechanical and electrical building systems, construction processes, methods, and technology. He also oversees project management, purchasing and subcontract agreements, change orders, cost reports, and communication with owners and architects of client projects.
Robert’s career in the construction industry continues a family tradition begun by his father and launched his career in the commercial end of the carpentry trade upon graduation from Triton College and Washburn Trade School in Chicago. His early experience included projects for some of Chicago’s largest corporate entities serving as foreman and superintendent. Prior to joining Custom Contracting, Robert served as Senior Facility Engineer for Motorola.
A lifelong learner, Robert continues to pursue continuing education in project and people management, regulatory standards, and health and safety issues. He is a member of the Builders Association, the local chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America and the Healthcare Engineers Society of Northern Illinois, the local chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). His has earned the ASHE Health Construction Certificate and OSHA certification in safety and health.
